This is why I hate Nepets.

This is also why I'm consolidating and enhancing my coding and computer graphic making skills to make a much better site.

Don't laugh. I'm serious.

I hate it. The target age group keeps getting lower--what is it now, like, eight?-- and yet the supervision on the site gets looser and looser to the point where you'd have to post a full description of wolves mating complete with pictures before you'd get in any trouble--the boards are no appropriate for the target age at all. The standard of coding is getting messier and messier because they're concentrating more on marketing instead of making the product they're selling better. The site is essentially one huge freaking ad disguised as a game (I personally object to advertising to young children and that's who they're aiming everything at now), inflation is to the pojnt where they should by all rights be in an economic depression, the staff don't give a s**t about anything and can't even be arsed to communicate with people, they play favourites and freeze accounts for either no reason, a really stupid reason, or because the player was doing too well. Every high scorer nearly cheats. Most of the players are assholes and very rude. Frozen accounts are never deleted because then they'd have to report a lower number of player accounts to potential advertisers. It's just gotten far too large. It's attained critical mass and started to fall apart. Too many people, unpoliced, in too small a space. It's like the internet equivalent of an inner-city slum.

And that was my rant for today.
