WOOOOOW-LOOOOONG time Since I wrote anything like this. Poor Shrimp, I really do miss him. He was so much fun XD


It ached, to see them together. It hurt so bad his heart stopped. HE was the friend! HE was his best firned! His only friend! Why should she be any different! Why was it that SHE got the same as him? He was the one that was the BEST friend. He had a title! He had Worked for the honor and prestige of that title! And she was still allowed to sit next to him in his chair, With HIS cup of tea, with his robe and slippers on-borrowing them since he wasn't there at the moment, or wasn't suppose to be anyways. His friend so close to her it made him sick. These were things he cherished, had put blood,sweat, and tears into and he was still lowered to the same position as a common naive! flipping his tail around frantically as he floated above the two having tea and chatting quietly to each other Shrimp growled,"That Witch." he grumbled holding back tears as his pride felt bruised. His ego torn and ripped into shambled by Rook's behavior around the girl. She wasn't even pretty! She was just as pretty as Ramses therefor Shrimp saw no reason for her to be attractive at all the Rook. She wasn't smart, She couldn't even see him for crying out loud. Knowing full well that Rook was choosing to ignore him as he floated past the librarian upside down and made a face."Cheater!" he hissed at Rook, who only offered another cup of tea and poured it delicately from his china elephant tea kettle.
Pacing back and forth in the air, Somersaulting off the walls as he came close to them Shrimp settled against the east wall of books and sat down on the top shelf between the ceiling and the highest row of books knowing that Rook couldn't see him he started to grab books and turn the corners of the pages down to annoy him later.
It wasn't fair-It wasn't fair,fair,fair, FAIR! Never ever went his way! Kicking his feet and legs int the air Shrimp finally laid down flat against the cool smooth oak finish. His head turned away from the sound of giggling and chuckling coming from the tea table. Sighing he traced the lines in the wood, imagining for a moment that he was a solider and he was the size of a flea and had to save the flea castle from the the lady bug army-After all everyone knows Lady bugs are evil. As the sound of laughter reached his ears again Shrimp felt a pang of heart ache settle in his chest.He should be the one there, not her. Her and her blond hair and green eyes and stupid perfect smile....Turning over to glance at the girl and Rook,Shrimp felt his face get hot as his eyes brimmed up with tears. Gods didn't cry. He told himself folding his arms and looking at the ceiling stubbornly. His eyes turning red from holding back tears, sobs chocking his throat.
"Gods don't cry." he repeated to himself, his tail sweeping at the corners of his eyes while he pouted. His lower lip protruding as he swallowed back a sob.
"Stupid Codfish Rook..." he said Moping,"He'll see....I'll show him...." trying to keep the 'godly' way of not crying Shrimp curled up and grabbed a book trying to read the weird symbols Rook could do so easily. Today was reading day and HIS tea time with Rook, Why did she have to go and mess it all up?
Flipping and looking at the pictures, the monkey boy stopped and touched the circlet around his forehead as he stared at the picture of captain Blackbeard on the dreaded pirate ship. A sneer on his lips and a black patch over one eye. Scowling to look like the man Shrimp tried to keep himself entertained flipping through the pictures and thinking up ways to rip himself of the girl who had stolen his place at the tea table.
