What is the point of standard based learning in schools, It is nearly impossible for the average learner to remember everything that they learned that year. The state expects too much. Yes, I attend a rather poorly educated school, but I struggle in Math classes (standard based). It is a good thing, standard based systems, well, to an extent. It picks the brighter of the bunch I suppose. Still, it is ridiculous.
