K y'all.

I went to see Alice in Wonderland on Sunday. Pretty good.

I thought Anne Hathaway played the White Queen really well. i liked how she carried her hands daintily. It was a lot different role than I have seen her in before and I'm glad she was expanding her horizons.

Which brings me to something else. While I was on my way into the theater, I saw an advertisement for the comic-book-to-movie Kickass. Which got me really excited, of course, and I had to point it out to my reluctant to be seen with me younger sister.

After I had thoroughly embarrassed her by yelling across the room I noticed and remembered that Nicolas Cage was playing the middle-aged batman wannabe. I didn't think much about it at the time.

Then, as we were watching previews, i saw an ad for a movie called the Sorcerer's Apprentice,[/] right before the awesome looking one for The prince of Persia. I noticed that he was the sorcerer that the main character (alchemist if you ask me) was being apprenticed to. He had long, raggedy gray hair and it took me a minute to figure out who he was, which greatly excited me.

In conclusion, I am saying that it appears Nicolas Cage is playing something other than the typical role you see him in. I think you know what I'm talking about.

Another thing i thought up about it while typing this was (and as I was going to youtube to get the video I saw an ad for Kickass and got excited again) .

Anyways, the part I didn't like about Alice in Wonderland was the feminism stuff by Alice at the end. It's not because I'm not into feminism or anything like that, it just felt kinda fake to me. Faux-feminism, if you will.
