Whhooooo!!
It would seem that there is only one entrance into the cave. A short, narrow path that by all means shows nothing spectacular that leads into a rather spectacular opening.

Big. That is a first impression. It is huge, enough so that some guardians may argue it is not a cave at all, but a valley surrounded by steep cliffs. 10 miles straight across from any point, the ground level alone gives more than enough room for exploration and discovery so that young Chimera and new guardians have no need to go further than the cliff boundaries.

Once a Chimera is able to fly, they have the opportunity to go upwards for apparently as long as they please. There are ledges and ledges in the rock cliffs that provide resting places and serve as more common grounds as well as living quarters for the Chimera. Needing nothing fancy, the smallest of these room-sized ledges might be the same as a studio apartment, enough for a single Chimera. The largest can house many Chimera living in a communal sort of way.

There are places that are below the ground level, access forbidden to all but the adult Chimera. These are dangerous paths that may shift with time and hold dangerous inhabitants. The most visited and notorious of these paths is the one behind the waterfall, where Chimera go to quest an elder stage. More information will be provided at a later date for the underground.

What do these large caves hold? One may mistake it for a valley for the strength of the magic inside. Though weakened much from when it first began, it is still strong enough to create the illusion of being outside. The light source seems to be unknown, dimming and strengthening in 6 hour periods, never so much as to be impossible to see, never so bright as to hurt the eyes. There is greenery---The natural green which is described {{Enter Link Location}}. Amazingly enough, plant life brought into the caverns can grow and remain alive, but it does not "thrive" in the sense that it will not seed to bring new plants. What is brought into the caverns is what remains, nothing added. Though animal inhabitants not native to cave life may have been brought in, they will always leave sooner rather than later. The natural inhabitants are those described along with the plant life.

Upon entering, the environment seems at a neutral temperature--a little warmer than room temperature, but still comfortable Should one wander toward the right, one will find the temperature rising. Within the ground level cave, it may become very uncomfortable for a human to wander all the way to the right, but never unbearable or dangerous to the average human. Should one wader toward the left, one will find the opposite effect, with the temperature lowering to an uncomfortable degree.

On the right, before reaching the furthest right, one will find hot springs. The hot springs seem to be the source of the mist and rain fall that occasionally comes to the center of the caves. They are certainly the source of the mist and more constant rainfall that shrouds the right side of the caves.

On the left, one will find the odd juxtaposition of spring-time plant life in the cold. When the misty rain from the right makes its way toward the left, it first freezes into a constant sticky snow, and later block-freezes into ice. On the furthest left, there is no water, frozen or not, for it has all fallen by the time it would have reached that side.

Other than those things described here, the bottom caves are as one might imagine a cave to be. Though covered with soft moss--the ground underneath is hard rock, smoothed in some areas by traffic, still jagged in other areas where there has been less traffic. By no stretch of the imagination is the ground level, humans and young chimera alike will find themselves tripping often if they are not cautious. There are boulders scattered here and there. There are not the ground and ceiling icicle formations one would normally find in a cave, but otherwise what one may find in a cave normally, one would find here.

{{Only thing not described, as far as I'm aware::: The waterfall. I'm not sure I UNDERSTAND the waterfall. Can you help me with this, Scarbi?}}}
