The pain tore through him...endless pain was he screaming? He couldn’t tell...couldn’t hear anything through the pounding of the blood in his ears even that seemed to be on fire. Every cell in his body crying out in unendurable agony, and yet he endured forced to continue to exist. Gods just let me die...let me become nothing he thought desperately through the pain before his thoughts lost coherence as a fresh wave of agony washed over him. He couldn’t see them am I blind? everything was darkness...or was it...fire...the fires of hell...flickering images impossible to make out, his weakened brain couldn’t make sense of the signals that travelled down his optic nerves why can’t I see why...gah. He couldn’t see them but between the waves of pain he sensed them, harsh voices yammering around him sometimes even the touch of their clawed hands.

He could feel his grip on reality slipping as time passed was it passing surely an hour has passed but still it went on seemingly without end until slowly his concious thought left him and there was nothing but the pain and madness.
