After reading 206 Bones, I didn't really have any money to buy more books(the sales were just too fantastic at the closing store), so I am reading a previous fav. Skullduggery Pleasant is written by an Irish screen writer for zombie movies. He definatly carries a creepy vibe in this story.
It's about Skullduggery Pleasant a skeleton who can throw fire and keep all his bones together, not by the muscle, but by magic (or so we assume). After his freind Gordon Edgley dies he (after an incident) drags his freind's neice Stephanie into this world of magic.
It's really good and carries a feel of both darkness and light comedy. It's hilarious and even though it's not quite my level of reading Its so much better than a romance novel (which I will read in the right mood).
There are three books in this series.
Strongly Suggest to young teens who have low focus attention on books or anything else, or kids looking for an exciting book.
