Marriage, the eternal bond between two individuals, who under the state as seen as one person now...unless you're gay.
You know I know there are many articles about this topic, some for and some again, this one will be a bit different. I want to put a different aspect to it really. A lot say marriage is about procreation. But I know how to kill that, why are old people allowed to be married if they can't have kids? How can a straight married couple still be considered married if they didn't have kids with in 2 years? How can any person who can't have kids due to a medical reason be married? All those are seen as real marriages under the church and state. So I have an idea, how about make a law against old people and people who can't have kids aren't allowed to marry too. And any married couple who haven't had kids in in 2 years are no longer seen as a married couple.
As well since marriage is seen as an eternal bond, lets make completely divorce illegal, because that only makes sense.
Now does all that seem really fair? I mean alright I shall give them the benefit of the doubt here, but really we need to clear this part up now because I know I can't have kids, but there are so many others who can't either, but yet they can marry. How can that be seen as right under the church?
Next thing, people say it's the threat the straight marriage...ok someone needs to please clear this up for me. How does that even make sense? How is a gay marriage going to affect a straight marriage? It's not like I am going to bust into your house and shoot rainbows at you! Really that argument is just ridiculous and makes no sense. The fact that they use it to promote the law against gay marriages is amazing that people fall for it.
