So let me just first start out by saying how sick and tired I am of guys coming up to me in rallies and asking me out. Just because I have what they call a cute avi, doesn't mean anything, at all, I promise. There are three problems that I have with these guys. 1. Quite obviously they have no respect, otherwise they may, and I stress that, I could be giving them too much credit, but they may consider getting to know a girl before they go out on a limb and ask if they want to go out. It's only common sense, really. At first glance I suppose a person could look nice, and decent, but that's only what the eye sees for one, and the fact that I don't believe love at first sight. They could be a completely different person then what they look like on the outside. I guess to be blunt, and if any of you guys hoping to ask me out on gaia are reading this, I DON'T KNOW YOU. 2. Never have I met a guy, and the first thing out of my mouth after introducing myself, is asking if they want to go out. I mean really, if you're going to be that annoying about it, you are obviously quite desparate to say the least. The least you can do is ask for names, ages, or place of residency, but that would be a little too awkward at first. Those kinds of things take time, and asking someone out at first glance, for the majority of the human race, is really weird and rude. 3. Personally, I DO NOT BELIEVE IN INTERNET DATING! That should be self explanitory. But just to make myself clear, here's a sub rant on the subject now that I'm on it. -My first problem with internet dating, is, that no matter how many pictures, how many explanations, or conversations one could possibly have with "the one" on the internet could possibly replace a real, face to face interaction. Of course if you live on the other side of the world from the other person, there could be complications, but really, if you're that desparate to find someone that you would result to dating on the internet with people you don't know, people that could be stalkers or something worse, people that could be half your age, or fifty years older. They could be married with kids, or a player, they could be on parole or in grade school, or a high school drop out. Granted those are all worse case senarios, but to be blunt, and to end this rant: To all you guys who are asking me out just because my avi is cute, don't bother. You are wasting your time. My standards are too high for the likes of you, and for all I know you could be any of the above senarios. With this rant, however, I am not discouraging friendship. I love making good friends that I can connect with and form a bond with, even if we never do get to meet face to face. ...Well, I hope that this may have opened some common sense to the general public, or to anyone who even cares to read this. I am done ranting, on this subject I stress, so thank you for reading.
