When you wish upon a star,
What is it about?
So you wish for money or power
Or books and cleverness?
Do you wish for love and friends
Or chariots of fire?
When you fall into a dream
And nothing’s really as it seems
Do you see you as you are
Or do you wish upon a star?
Do you wish to change your view
Or how others look at you?
Do you wish for beauty
Or do you wish for fame?
Do you wish for glory
To shine on you today?
Or do you know to be true,
For stars can’t change the shape of you.
