Sweeping in silently,
he arrives,
to sooth the sadness,
that falls from my eyes.

the wind, his voice,
sings in my ears,
singing softly,
to stop my tears.

the stars his eyes,
are watching over me,
making the night,
the safest place to be.

the rain falls,
kissing me lightly,
his lips on mine,
loving me softly.

he holds me close,
showing no tears,
he gives his love,
far past my own years.

on comes dawn,
he fades away,
leaving me alone,
to face harsh day.
