I LOVE my supervisor (not that way you idiot)
My supervisor Jeff said something--actually a couple of somethings--today on an escalated call for my friend Scott that makes me laugh really (x1000 times) hard.
Note, I work for a cellphone company.
SITUATION:
Lady has two active accounts. Her bill was due on January 16. She paid one in full so it has a $0.00 balance. The other account had a past due already on the 16th and is now considered two months past due. She wanted Scott to transfer some of the money she paid on the 16th from the $0.00 balance account to the past due account.
Because this causes both accounts to be past due, we cannot transfer the funds. No matter how many times Scott tells the lady this, she insists that if Scott can't do it, then to get her someone who can. Jeff (again, supervisor) comes on the phone and tells the lady THE SAME THING. The following is the end of the call that I had caught. Note, Jeff is cool as a cucumber and Scott tells me the lady was severely pissed off.
END OF CALL QUOTES:
Lady: "Oh my god!"
Jeff: "God has nothing to do with it ma'am."
Lady: "He does too--I can't believe you just said that to me! You're a ******** idiot!"
Jeff: "You too ma'am." *hangs up on her*
If that's over your head, Jeff told the customer that god has nothing to do with her cell phones and that she's a ******** idiot! rofl
