Her nose twitched and her limbs occasionally shifted position. Her heart was full of life and beat fast. The leverate grinned and carefully opened her eyes, she peered at her mother and felt the warmth of her mother nuzzling her. The young female hare was now a proud parent of a newborn daughter and ten sons.
The adult hare looked outside to se her mate in the horizon, they both looked at each other in pride and joy. Then he bounded off towards the sunset, he had disappeared as quick as he had appeared for the first time before her.
"I'll miss you!" she whispered.

"Mummy?!"
Twile smiled at her daughter and bent down to nuzzle her. "Yes my daughter..."
"Why am I called 'Starlight'?" asked the curious adventure bound hare.
"Just as you opened your eyes for the first time, it was before your older brothers...it was the time when the stars started to appear and twinkle down on you! You're father told me he thought that you'd become a very adventures creature you know..."
Starlight smiled and snuggled down in her moss lined bed. "Goodnight mummy!" she whispered, watching her mother bound away into the night.
The young mother stared out at the distance and sighed happily, quickly bounding off towards the other leverate she needed to check on.
