The Queen of Mars' Journal
I'm starting this journal to keep track of what happens daily on Mars. Some days it will be pretty boring. [Not much happens on Mars that's especially exciting] Other days it will be filled to the brim, so subscribe and read on!
Stardate:...err...whenever.
Well, today started off pretty boring. That damned Mars Rover still sits outside making random beeps and whistles throughout the day. I'm still trying to work on getting it removed, but the reception up here hasn't improved in the slightest.
There's going to be a meeting soon for the Galactic Presidents Association. Yes, I know that spells out G.P.A. I've always thought it kind of funny, since the rest of the planets are moreso a democracy. I'm the only Queen in this Galaxy. I'm pretty sure there are other galaxies that have Queens and Kings, but the rest of the Milky Way has been pushing democracy on me. I'm not sure why I would ever want to change it. My people love me, and don't want it to change. Elections would create a whole new set of problems, and thankfully, my superviors don't want to deal with it. Frankly, neither do I. It's just too much of a hassle.
There was a georgous view of the Earth early this evening. I sat outside my palace and stargazed a bit. The red sky really adds a nice touch to the scenery. I was so bored with Earth's blue sky. It's always blue. It's just like the water.
At least on Mars we get an occasional phenomenon which I believe is similar to the "Northern Lights" on Earth. The only difference is that you can see anywhere on the planet, and that it lasts much longer than the one on Earth.
I actually plan to visit Earth again to visit my "Earth Parents". I was born on Mars, but raised by some very interesting people. The "mother" I had passed away due to problems, and my "Step Mother" and "Father" have their own unique quirks. My "Step Mother's" side of the so-called "Family" is really quite interestig to study. I'll have to write about my findings after I return.
I've been watching the History Channel recently and keep hearing these rediculous iseas about making Mars green to "Support Life". I laugh so often at those claims. They failed with using the first Rover, and I doubt they'll be able to "greenify" Mars anytime soon. It'll be lightyears away. Not only that, but they'll run into countless oppositions. I'm actually working with my scientists and engineers to create an impenetravble force field around the planet. It can be turned off and on when needed, and has the strength to repell a large asteroid. I hope it gets done soon. I can't wait to laugh at those pathetic NASA people.
Anyhow, I'm off to go chat with the first lady of Jupiter. She's coming over for tea tonight. I'll write again tomorrow.
