Yay....
I'm From.
I'm from the pan handle of the United States,
From waltzing insects, Sky diving frogs, and deadly snakes,
To the elusive deer, bug-eyed Squirels, and chirping cardinals

I'm from the mother who was always there to tuck me in at night,
The Father always slaving at work for the family,
And the two wicked sisters.

I'm from the never ending quest for knowledge,
The great pilgrimage to the library,
From "The boy who lived." to "You shall not pass."
From collecting insects to collecting enemies.

I'm from the apartments by the Pennichuck,
The endlessly bickering parents,
And the need to make friends.

I'm from the school where everyone hates you,
Where teasing is boundless and always with perfect attendence,
From being used to being abused,
From the negligant teachers to the teasing children,
Where being called a psychopath is something common.

I'm from the Father that left home,
The Mother who sacrificed meals on end to feed her babies,
And where the eldest sister left home.

I'm from the Segrogated family,
Land mines and explosions,
Lies and deceit,
Raised to hate my own kin,
And left to question.

I'm from the small condominium,
Where a boy and his mother lived,
The place of my Fathers new found love,
And the grave of my innocence.

I'm from the apartment in Hookset,
Where waves and racecars where always the talk,
Sleeping in the den full of lies,
Treading neck deep in the waters of confusion.

I'm from The Condo in Brittany Place,
Where God was to be praised,
The birthplace of an addiction,
And the death of an imagination.

I'm from Briand Drive,
When friends were made,
Fame was to become,
And where depression hit the worst.

I'm from the High School,
Where everyone knew who you were,
Cheerful laughs and devious pranks were played,
Hearing the rhythmic melody of dull voices,
Where the legend was born and still lives,
And the followers who spread his word.

I'm from the house on the main road,
Roaring auto-mobiles and passers by,
Where the phrase "Never sleep" was born.
The alter of seperation,
The soothsayer of what is to come,
And the home to a boy.

Among the thoughts of my mind,
Many memories reside,
Defining myself has never been harder,
Especially in this new town.
