Today I wrote a paper for English, I think I'll include a bit of it... don't worry it's not in the least boring. It's fiery, passionate, and is about something that's... shortly misunderstood.

Shortly Underestimated
By: Octoberstormxx (copyright 2009; steal my work and consider yourself sued ;D)

I know I’ll never be that basketball star, I’m no Michael Jordan (6’2). I also know that I missed the cut off to be an astronaut by half an inch. And apparently, in order to push a food cart up and down the aisle of a plane you must be at least 5’2 (flight attendant).

I wish that there were some easy solution to my problem. But all in all, you can’t fix short. There’s no fancy medication to get you to the height you want to be, and though magi-grow can do wonders for your plants the same results do not apply to humans. You can try platform shoes, but those were out by the late 70’s. And contrary to belief, you can’t be stretched out like a piece of candy with a taffy-puller.

But to be honest, I don’t want to be any taller. I just don’t want to be assumed a child. Because if I’ve counted my birthday candles right, I’m sixteen-years-old. And I think that I deserve to be treated like the young woman I really am, no matter what height I am.

(Yes, I know, where's the intro? I didn't include it because it's a /long/ paper. So sorry it's short, but... I like it this way, just a quick blurb.)
