The New Patient (Edit)
I watched as it squirmed. They all did. Trying to escape their fates but it was too late as soon as they were captured they were as good as dead, just like all the others. But for some reason I felt ...pity?.... I'm not sure why? Perhaps it was because it was white and sickly. Or at least it was...I dont know... it just reminded me of someone...
“NEMU”
I blinked back to reality realizing that Mayuri's lab wasn't exactly the right place to be dozing off at the moment “Yes Master!” I shouted, running over to his side. I bowed slightly waiting for my orders
He looked up slowly , perhaps trying to decided whether he should stick that syringe into the creature, or me. "Hmm..." His eyes feel back on the specimen and he raised his arm to inject it. Guessing that my life was safe at the moment I sighed quietly
But not quietly enough
Mayuri growled slamming his fist on the lab table causing everything to fly off and hit me...which hurt by the way. At first I blinked starring up at him in surprise but then I realized my lack of speech might irratate him even more
"Is something wrong Master?" I glanced down noticing a needle sticking out of my leg '......ouch'
"Your useless" He glared dangerously at me "Simply useless, why do I even waste my time on someone like you" He stormed past me out of the lab muttering a variety of bad words "Take out the trash, before I take out you"
"Yes Master..." I bowed again even though I knew he couldnt see me.
I walked over to the "trash" and carried it away. Not really sure if I should be happy to do Father's bidding or depressed.
Walking outside I quickly disposed of the creature, then hurriedly back to Mayuri. Not wanting to be tortured for loitering again. I had almost made it back into my squad's buiding when I heard someone yell
"Squad 12 Lieutenant”
Which usually I would never respond to random shouts of my name, but the urgency and familiariness of the voice caused me to turn around
"Hey Nemu"
I smiled seeing Nanao. '...how nice she never visits me here'I was about to say Hi when I noticed Caption Unohana and Isane following after her. Frowning I reached towards my sword not really sure what they wanted
“I request to speak to Mayuri" Unohana ran up to me with a slightly annoyed expression on her face. Thinking that they really did want to fight I unsheathed my sword and glanced at Nanao, obviously confused.
"Don't make me hurt...I just want to talk to your Captian" Unohana held up her hands to show that she meant no harm while Isane took out her sword and pointed it at me
"Don't think we'll let you escape like last time..." she jabbed the sword closer almost touching my nose.
I blinked not really sure what was going on. "....Mayuri is this way" I walked back into the squad 12 building wondering why they were being so rude and urgent. Silently I lead them to the main office where father would surely be doing some kind of project.
I sighed taking a deep breathe. I'm starting to get a little paranoid I thought glancing sideways at the sword pointed at my neck
“Why are you doing that” I asked fingering my hilt just in case they were planning an attack or something
“Doing what” Isane asked back.
I paused for a moment wondering what Master would say if I snapped a rank officers neck “Holding a sharp pointy object me...What else? ” I continued on towards our destination, realizing that I would have to add two other people the my 'hit' list
Unohana smiled” Sorry Lieutenant but I can’t have you getting away.... I must tell Mayuri something”
“Why would I run away?” I wondered out loud. It was really starting to bother me seeing as the word escape hadn't crossed my mind since they had appeared
“Well you are Mayuri’s daughter aren’t you he must have warned you to look out for me” She shook her head thoughtfully ” That trouble maker”
'Father...a...trouble maker...?' I smiled slightly. I've heard people call him mad, crazy, brilliant, even scary...but never a...trouble maker?... What kind of relationship did Unohana have with Master?...And why does she act like she knows him so well. Frowning I knocked on his office door.
"Brings back memories..."
I looked back at Unohana ...memories of what?
She clenched her fist and hit the nearest wall angrily "All the time I've waste on that lo-"
She stopped talking as Master's voice rang out through the speaker on top of the door
"WHaT??!?"
I opened my mouth to reply but before I could he shouted
"BETTER YET WHeRe THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN??!?"
My eyes grew wide and I quickly bowed, not expecting him to be this anger "Master...Squad 4's Captian and Lieutenant are here to see you"
There was a long pause of silence
“...Tell them I’m not here ...and then meet me at the escape pods” I frowned not getting why he was so nervous
Turning back towards Unohana I put on my best smile “ I’m sorry but my Master isn’t...in right now, he is however taking messa-"
o . o I jumped back in horror as Unohana performed basic kudo and blew away the door to Master's office. Oh **** I muttered, Master was going to kill me for this.
Running forward Unohana looked mad and not just regular mad. The kind of mad that makes you think, 'Wow that person really looks P-I-S-S-E-D today. "So you have been avoiding me Mayuri...shame on you” She grabbed hold of my arm giving me a apologetic look “However, I guessed something like this would happen so...I made precautions" She grinned as if she had already won whatever crack game her and Master were playing "Not to mention..." She shoke my arm " I have your lieutenant!"
“I thought I told you already...” Mayuri stepped out of his office looking slightly pissed “...your NOT getting that stuff BACK” he pointed side ways towards me, like I was an after thought "I wouldnt want a bomb so close, if I were you”
I frowned glancing around. What...bomb?
"And NO!!! I will not date you unless I can cut you open” He folded his arms to end the discussion
Unohana turned redder then lieutenant Abarai’s hair “This is Official Business” she shouted waving papers in Mayuri’s face” The commander demands that you attent to one of my patients”
Mayuri snatched the papers out of her hand scanning them quickly “I don’t care what the commander or the general...”
“There The Same Pers-” Unohana cut in
“-Has to say this is NOT a hospital and I will NOT take care of your patients” To prove his point he throw the papers up in the air
Unohana smiled. A sight truely scarier any grin Ichimaru Gin’s could make or even the thought of fighting Kenpachi Zaraki to death. I shivered moving closer to my Master
She gritted her teeth “Since the higher-ups and I ordered it it’s going to happen whether you love it or not” She turned and started walking away her lieutenant following after her ”I’ll bring Ukitake here tomorrow for a physical and you’d had BETTER be here” and with that she flashed stepped away
I glanced up at my Master and was astonished to find him smirking and then....laughing??!? And no one is in pain? Had he truely gone mad “What’s wrong father?”
Instead of answering he picked me up spun me around in a circle. Kinda like how a father would swing there young child. Except for the most part I was wondering when he planned to throw me ” Oh Nemu isn’t this great” He smiled at me
...I don't think I had ever seen him smile so...big. Its was kinda...scratch that...it was very scary “What’s so great Master?” My eyes started to swell with tears. Was this some kind of new punishment?
“You of course” He said very zealously
“Me?” Perhaps he really had lost it
“Yes! You...even though you brought that irritating Unohana here you managed to redeem yourself by get me a Captian to experiment on!” He clapped his hands together and started heading back towards his office. Muttering something about experiments
“Wait!!!? What?” I frowned in confusion. Why couldn’t he just experiment on himself. I mean he was also a captian wasn’t he?
Father ignored me rubbing his fingers together evilly “And not just any captian, the only sick soul reaper to ever suffer from that human disease.” He patted me on the head “Go prepare a cell for our honored guest... Jyuushiro Ukitake!”

....I can’t believe Father put a self-destruct device in side of me! I mean I know that he isn’t exactly the sanest person out there, but how cruel. And he didn’t even warn me. What if I accidently tripped and set it off.... OH NO!!!!!!! Or what if it activates when I laugh...or sneeze...or cough...maybe it's when I say the word... "Activate Self Bomb"
