Gwen "Guinevere"

" But I NEED tacos! I need them or I will explode! That happens to me sometimes! "

(( * Ride on in elvish*))

Gwen had to pracitcally hold on for dear life as the as the pelican landed not so gracefully to the sandy ground. When the door opened she jumped out of her seat, grabbed her belongings and ran for the exit. Once her feet were on the ground she fell to her knees and began kissing the sand. After that little spectical she stood up and scanned for her friend. Just as her eyes turned to a hill; two figures appeared on the top. One horse was riderless and Gwen knew why. The horse reared and let out a shrill neigh as it galloped towards her and suddenly came to a jerking halt a few feet away from her.

She let her eyes wonder over the stallion that stood at 15.4HH. He was muscular with lean legs and a strong chest. His head he carried with pride and dignity. His dapple grey coat shined brightly in the sun. It only took a moment for Gwen to realize this Andalusian was Asfaloth. The little colt she had left behind two years ago. She dropped her backpack to the ground and ran to the horse. Her arms were flung around his strong neck.

" My boy." She whispered burying her nose into his mane.

He smelled of sand sweat and musk but Gwen was glad that he was here. Her eyes jsut noticed the halter and lead rope that was tied to make up for the lack of reins. Laughing, gwen scrambled onto his frame; feeling suddenly powerful. She looked at the Arab girl Jazira who was sitting astride a Friesian and nodded. The two then took their postions for the race that they had. She looked at the marines and noticed one of them had her backpack that was being tossed into the back of a warthog.

Hearing the sound of hooves made Gwen lean forward so she was neck 'n' neck with Asfaloth and give his sides a sharp jab. She felt herself being lifted off the ground then jerking forward as he briefly went onto his hind legs and bolted. The roar of the wind and the rythm of the hooves made Gwen fell as if she was flying. Soon the two were racing towards the Sangheili ship Gwen had spotted earlier on their way down. Jazira had taken the lead but Gwen was not far behind. She whispered " Noro Lim! Asfaloth Noro Lim!*" and smiled when he suddenly started gaining ground on Shadow.

Jazira was astonished at the speed Asfaloth was going. She noticed the ground they were gaining and was urging Shadow to ride harder. But it was too late for the two. Gwen had caught up and was now heading for the Sangheili ship that loomed in the distance. Slowly Asfaloth was passing the Friesian and putting some distance in between them. The Sangheili ship was becoming bigger by the minute.
-------
Amalthea had no clue as to how Shadow convinced her into going to the west. She knew what laid in the upper west and was trying to avoid that place like the plague. Her cloak was pulled over the simple maiden dress. The hood was covering her face and protecting her from the wind. Shadow was happy to have her ride him since it was faster. But they had to go by land since they would be noticed in the air. Amalthea didn't pay attention to the worn out sign and headed towards the upper most part.

Helen Anderson

Location: Riverside near hometree

Status: sketching
Avatar mode.

Helen was up and early as she normally was. Though this time rather than interacting with the Na'vi, she wanted some down time from all of the events. Helen sat under a tree, Green eyes focused on the river. Her mind thought was off in la-la land. It was due to the fact that she barely got any sleep from the nightmares that plauged her mind. Eyes slid shut as she recalled the after math of the accident that took her friends life.

Helen struggled to breath from the shock. Her horse, Sanguinario was no where in sight, having run off after the truck collided with her friend. A trail of blood was all that was left of where her horse use to be. She could hear Riverwind screaming in pain. Yet Helen picked up no sound from her friend. A raspy scream tore through her throat as she rolled over. Now Helen could see what had happened.

She felt tears roll down her cheeks and angrily wiped them away. Instead Helen pulled out a sketch book and began leafing through the pages filled with drawings. The drawings were both from Earth and Pandora. yet she stopped at a certain one and stared at it. The picture contained two smiling teenagers in summer clothing. The girl on the right was slightly older in appearence with wavy hair falling down her shoulders and a twinkle in her eyes. The one on the left was Helen.

Feeling a new wave of sadness coming on she turned to a blank page and began drawing her horse Sanguinario from the photo that was paper clipped on the left page. The Andalusian stallion that stood at 15.4HH easily. He was muscular with lean legs and a strong chest. His head he carried with pride and dignity. His fiery red coat shined brightly in the sun, giving off the appearence of fire.

Rose Lionheart

Rose was listening to the forest "speak" to her. They were telling her that a caravan was heading to the village Neil that was nearby. She knew better than to interfere with such trivial matters. But she gave a sharp jab to Eclipse's side and the horse headed down the path and towards the caravan. Rose dimsounted and crouched behind the brush. She stayed behind the tree's though since Rose refused to expose herself to strangers. Yet she could easily hear what the people were saying since words traveled with the wind. A smile was on her face as they mentioned her. She could hear the men talk of a beautiful woman that was the nymph of the forest. Some boasting that they had seen her and lived to tell about it.
Rose knew that was a lie since no man had seen her save for a few. Her faithful wolf Night was sitting and listening with a blank expression on his face. He was always calm and poised. But ready to enter battle in an instance. A small sigh escaped her lips as she stood to her feet and began walking. Her feet made no noise since she was like an elf almost. Save for the fact that she was mortal and would die eventually of old age. Her companions followed her as she walked. Though Night brought up the rear since he was the cautious and wary one of the group. He spied a rabbit going across the trail and went after it. He did not know he was out in the open and exposed to the caravan until he had killed the rabbit.
