The jungle was unusually humid that night. The moon hung heavy in the black expanse of the sky, but the moisture in the air hung far heavier. Even the normal nocturnal predators that normal frequented the area were silent. In fact, only a small group of darkly clad ninjas seemed capable of pushing themselves to activity.

However, dear reader, we know this was not entirely true. Deep within the jungle and ancient force was awake and moving. Thick, scaly hide moved through the trees and vines without deterrence. The few stray beams of moonlight that pierced the thick, green canopy occasionally glittering upon the deadly fangs and claws of the beast. The Tyrannosaurus Rex was hungry and a bunch of ninjas would be a suitable meal.

As the mighty beast emerged into the clearing, it released a deafening roar. Yet, it was not the dinosaur that truly struck fear into the ninjas’ heart. It was the feminine figure that road upon its back. Her reputation was known far and wide. The Scourge of the High Seas, Captain Hound, was as vicious as she was vivacious. Nobody was going to stand between her and her treasure, and, if it took a dinosaur feasting upon ninja to reach that goal, then so be it…
