(July 16th 2009) Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
((P.S. i moved this from my other account. date posted will be wrong but ill write the right date up.))

I'm just going to say one thing. I am VERY disappointed with the way the movie was. They messed everything up. Ya, it was a decent movie to watch i guess but it is a stick in the mud compared to the marvelous Weeping Willow tree the book was.

First off. The movie started with them showing the bridge and stuff collapsing and such which the book did not. It only stated that it happened BUT that doesn't give them the excuses to CUT OUT the whole first chapter. Where is the part where they are in the Prime Ministers office?! MAYBE they had it in the other movie which i did not see thus i am sorry for complaining but if they did that, they shouldn't have. Honestly i am usually disappointed with movies based on books cus they always destroy it. BUT then we are going to have all the ******** stupid people who don't read go, "Oh! I loved the harry potter movie it was so cool and i'm going to see it 3 more times!" Then you mention all the things that were wrong with it and they look at you dumb found cus THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT!!!! I think that you shouldn't be allowed to see a movie unless you have some idea about the book. Like all the ******** idiotic twilight fans. 95% of the little girls and boys haven't even read the book and they are all like "OMFG I LIKE TOTALLY LOVED THAT MOVIE!! EDWARD IS SO HAWT!!!!!" Don't get me wrong! I did like the movie... enough that i went to some bullshit movie convention that consist of sitting in line for 7 hours and flat soda.

But back to harry potter. If you didn't read the book, you should. I'm not telling you not to go see the movie but in my opinion it was one of the worst movies that was based on a book, ever. Read the book first, then by all means watch the movie so you'll understand why I'm so upset. You don't even have to go in that order. You can watch the movie, then read the book. Just as long as you read it.

Book: 8/10 stars Running time: about 3 days.
Movie: 5/10 stars Running time: 2 hours and 33 mins.
