I hope that whatever I get for Decemberween will be something on the list I gave to my mom. Because one thing I hate is opening presents that did not come from the list.

"I hope this is the MP3 player I wanted!" *unwraps*

"...Oh. It's a...cassette tape. 'Halloween Sound Effects', it says. Gee. Thanks a lot."

That's a perfect example. Although that's never happened, I think it mentions a lot about crappy gifts.
It's like asking for a tooth whitener and getting a toilet brush. It's the WTF gifts, as I like to label them.
