Muffled cries for air
As much as you dont want to live
Life presses on
Almost endlessly
More turned faces pass by
Asking, crying out for help
But nothing
This is it
I'm alone
Oh so alone
And the darkness
Is so cold...
As much as you dont want to live
Life presses on
Almost endlessly
More turned faces pass by
Asking, crying out for help
But nothing
This is it
I'm alone
Oh so alone
And the darkness
Is so cold...

They all seemed to be moving, running, waiting
For something that I would never understand.
Then I heard a voice
And saw across the train station
A boy alone, hugging his knees, on a pew
I wanted to mimic him
To find security in my own limbs.
Hiding away from the world.
Instead I found myself beside him
Whispering:
"you are never alone.
My dear unloving,
I will love you."
