Masumi clung tight to Ryu's shirt as they walked,she could feel eyes staring at them"R-Ryu....doesn't this seem....wierd..."
Ryu kept his focus ahead,the ribbon still wrapped around his arm yet dull"Yea..."He looked to the side with the corner of his eye,seeing that the same creatures from before were surrounding them
They hadn't attacked the whole time,they just stood there.All of them focused on Ryu's arm "I see then...this ribbon can keep them at bay.." He kept walking,staring out infront of him seeing a small passageway with light
"Over here"Ryu grabbed Masumi by the hand and ran over to the passageway,letting her go in first as he followed.
Masumi exited out in a small room,it seemed pretty safe despite the rubbles of the place on the ground and a few noises coming from outside.It seemed to be a study room of some sort
Ryu sighed softly as he picked up a few rocks,using them to block off the way they came in from
"What are you doing?"Masumi tilted her head to the side alittle as she watched him"We're gonna have to get out of here ya know!"
Ryu wiped his forehead with arm,wiping away a few sweatdrops"I know that,but I need to make sure you'll be safe before I leave"Ryu walked to the back of a room,seeing a door"This has to be the only way out"
"Wha- Wait!"Masumi ran over to him,blocking the door with her arms"Don't tell me you're just gonna leave me in a creepy place like this!"
Ryu nudged her out of the way as he opened the door to a small crack"Don't worry,it'll only be alittle while"He smiled as he walked inside the next hallway,closing the door tight behind him.He grabbed a small pole and stuck it under the doorway for Masumi before he ran off
Masumi grabbed the pole and held it tight,not wanting to be left alone.He hit it against the concrete as she saw a shadow come closer to her...the shadow belonging to a spider
Kyo continued running down the hallway,her claws dripping blood from her previous encounters with a few of the creatures"....What the hell is he planning.."
She skidded to a stop,the hallway ending and coming across some silver double doors.Kyo looked down at the handle,reaching out to it and shivering slightly as the cold metal chilled her arm
Kyo lifted her thumbs up,pushing them down on the activation buttons to the door a loud Click echoing down the hallway.She pushed the doors open,jumping slightly at the screeching sound of the rusted metal as it moved
The room was dark,a few candles on the wall were all that lit it.Ahead of her were a small pair of stairs,they didn't lead anywhere except to a statue on the same platform
Kyo walked inside,quickly turning around as the doors closed back on thier own.She didn't bother trying to open them back"...."She faced back towards the front walking closer to the stairs
As she got closer she could see a figure coming into place laying on the stairs"Wha...."Kyo squinted her eyes alittle,trying to make out the figure
"Its been...so long...Kyo..."A soft voice spoke from the darkness,a soft Snap being made instructing the candles to shine brighter lighting the room better
On the stairs lay a woman,her long red hair sprawled across the stairs as her head lay near the top.She laid there almost curled in a ball,her eyes shining a bright green
"I should have known it had something to do with you..."Kyo growled at the womans appearance.She stood there showing off her fangs and letting the firelight hit them
"Do you still hate me...do you still depsise me...Despise your own mother...?"You could hear the weakness in the womans voice,despite her young look she was quite old
"You should know by now I don't consider you to be my mother"Kyo turned her head away from the woman,remembering how she was during her childhood
"But still I am"She looked over at Kyo,not bothering to make any attmept to stand up"Lady Keisuke queen of vampires is your mother...Kyo.."
"Look I only came here for one reason....and thats to kill Katsutoshi..."Kyo turned her back to Keisuke,shaking her head softly
"Even after all this time...you and your brother still fight...don't you think its enough of that.."
"No..we both know what he did...and its your fault too..You ordered him to kill my father!"Kyo turned around quickly as she snapped at her
"Thats a lie!I did no such thing...I loved Ryotaru..with every ounce of my heart.."Keisuke lead her eyes away from Kyo as she stared at one of the steps"Katsutoshi killed him out of his own ill will"
"Tsk...do you really expect me to believe that!?"Kyo growled softly at the woman,crossing her arms angrily
"I don't care what you believe Kyo..but Katsutoshi was jealous...jealous that your father was taking some much of my time from him..jealous that his own father never paid any attention to him before his death...He wanted everyone to be just as miserable as him"
"I never ordered Katsutoshi to kill anyone...your father and I were about to get married..hoping to resolve the issue of the war with the vampires and humans...but Katsutoshi didn't want that.."Keisuke coughed softly,a small speck of blood coming out onto her hand
She ignored it as she kept talking"He wanted the fighting to continue...he was my only son..and my greateast enemy...he enjoyed seeing either side being killed off...not caring whether if they were his friends or not.."

"When I found out what his true intentions were...I wanted him stopped..but he drained me of all powers...Katsutoshi is the king of vampires..."
"Thats not what I came here to hear"Kyo walked towards the door,placing her hands on the handles as she was about to walk out
"I'm not done....Katsutoshi wanted to enhance vampires...by using the blood of a half breed and the one who could tame it"

Kyo walked over to her,knealing down by her side"And what now..my father is dead now..he can't accomplish anything"
Keisuke's eyes started to fade to a soft brown"But can't he...there is another you have grown fond of...He's waited so long to find another...he won't...hesistate....to succeed..."
"I don't know what your talking about,who is it!?"Kyo slammed her fist down on the stairs,leaving a small imprint in them
"The one...you love and cherish almost as much as your father...they feed you..and you are filled"
