Gotta keep this somewhere, I have so many dreams that I am gonna start writing them down.
The sunlight bounces off the tiled rooftops on such a glorious day. the village is a modern one with all the essentials, and a huge building with a dark roof in the centre.
I forget the next bit...
I look up, I've forgotten what causes it but something hits the giant roof and tiles come raining down on us. Suddenly we (me and the town Mayor, a big guy with a bushy white beard) hear some worrying nears over the radio.
The dead have risen, the country lies in chaos.
At once everyone jumps into action, either blindly panicking or beginning to fortify the town.
Suddenly the setting changes. It is the same village/town but we seem to be in a huge cavernous tunnel, like the inside of a mighty cathedral. At each end of the cavernous room there is a tunnel entrance that trails into darkness. These are blocked off by defences against the dead, although none have been sighted yet.
Suddenly I know that we are the last surviving humans on the planet. And the dead are coming.
Relentless moaning echoes off the distant tunnel walls, the dead shuffle thirstily out of the darkness, craving our human flesh. Suddenly there seem to be a lot of men in the village, and evry person is armed. Rifles and shotguns start to moe down the zombies as they near the defences, but I cannot fully make them out yet.
Days pass, weeks, I think maybe a month. All is going well. The village is fortified properly and life seems to be returning to normal, poeople bustling about in this giant cavern of safety. The huge dark building has become a place of refuge.
But one day, it changes. Nobody knows what happened, but somehow the dead overcame the defences on the right side of the cavern and coming pouring through the the black tunnel. The guards sceam out their warnings and try in vain to keep them back, but they are overcome. The new world we were buliding comes shattering down about us and everyone is thrown into a state of panic as we have never known befpore.
The dead advance, suddenly a lot faster. I run towards the building, and suddenly I am inside on what could be the fourth or fifth floor. I have a sturdy shotgun in my hands and the mayor and others are around me, watching the scene below.
I hear screams in the corridor. I look out and it is kind of weird, a long never ending hallway made of glass and whiteness with a single metal rail running along it. The dead are up the right end and I am running towards them.. I start shooting, but this does not stop them.
Grotesquely misshapen bodies that once were human fall upon me. Rotting corpses sink their mouths into my flesh, I am literally torn apart. That bit is pretty gross :/
I am back outside but the zombies pay no heed to me, I guess I am some kind of ghost or w/e, but I am here to watch as the last remnants of mankind fall to the mouths of what were once people, but are now lifeless, empty monsters only driven by an insane and unquenchable thirt for human blood and flesh. I watch the people I once knew and loved get ripped apart...
And then I woke up and was pretty grossed out. Thought I should write this down lest I should forget.
I think being trapped in the huge cavern has something to do with my claustrophobia and I have an irrational fear over zombies.
