A Rant about cosplay copy cats
Hmmm.. Now that i've noticed everyone's originality is being stolen by some random noob and proclaims to be theirs, of course there's a reason for them to get mad, i mean I would also get mad if my originality got stolen and made into copies. But, today... It seems devastating how much cosplayers fear this. For example, a certain person had proclaimed that they are the first "SnJ Kakashi", but they weren't cosplayed as one. Of course she seems a bit aggravated too,i mean I wouldn't know, im not psychic.
In fact, i have been here since 2007 and i was the first girl to cosplay as kakashi. Yeah I sometimes cosplay as snj Kakashi, but those were fun times. xKakashi-Chan was my first kakashi cosplay avi. But im not proud about it. Most naruto cosplayers that i've known had forgotten me, especially the ones who used to be close around me since i keep changing cosplays until i decided to be kakashi. Im a real cosplayer in life too, so I know my originality. I would also be hurt if someone dressed up EXACTLY the same as me. Everyone can be whoever they want to be,but if they want to piss someone off by copying someone else's avi, well it's their choice, but it's only to humiliate themselves, not you. You have friends that known u right?
I was a bit hurt when that certain person started talking about like that... I dunno how she feels at the other line, but i only came to make friends all over agen.. Yeah Im a shy person.. I dunno how to come up to ppl and say "Hey!" or it will be too awkward..., since i only want to make friends... Go back to my old friends who used to invite me in rallies or houses... Roleplay fights with them... I miss it.... Now im afraid to face them now since they might think im a copycat also... Im not being one... I guess society in gaia has changed since... I haven't been into rallies in a while because it's hard to make friends... And now... I dunno wat to do... I like to go back and tell them,"Hey! Do you remember me? It's kakashi-chan!" but.. I know they wouldn't remember me..
