It was something Selena was supposed to be able to handle. Something that had happened before and should've learned from. But she couldn't navigate out of it like she should. She felt trapped within herself. It was over but she couldn't put it behind her.

It was late at night. She sat in the office area with only a lamp on at her desk. She couldn't bare to be alone but felt safer here. She stared at the blank computer screen. She was lost in her thoughts.

From the other side of the office space, Leo watched her. She hadn't spoke since they had found her in that cold room a few days ago. She was hurt, and he tried to get her to stay home. He knew of course that she wouldn't but she came in and helped the team.

He moved over to her desk and sat down beside her. She barely noticed him until he put an arm around her uninjured shoulder. She looked at him before turning and staring at her feet. Using his free hand, he moved her face so she was looking at him.

"You know, it's ok to talk about it."

She replied to him, "I don't want to."

"You need to."

A small tear rolled down her cheek. She buried her face in his chest. Her voice was small and muffled from his shirt. "I can't."

They sat there in silence for a few moments before he said to her, "Come on. You need some sleep."

"I don't want to be alone tonight."

"I won't let you." He helped her up and led her to the elevator. She reminded him of the daughter he once had. She wasn't the kind to be helpless and normally didn't ask for help unless she couldn't handle something.

When they arrived at his house, she went to the spare bedroom. Before entering the room, she turned to him and said, "Thank you Leo."
