Midgard Part 4

They walked back into the village and returned to the cliff where the dead Nidhogg was rotting. Segnfiend walked up to it and kicked it's body. "Damn thing."
Xaviar stared at it with disgust. "So how do we do this?" he asked.
Segnfiend looked off into the distance to a dark forest that looked so twisted in the moonlight that it looked as if it could consume you.
"We need to move it in there."
Xaviar stared at Segnfiend. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! We just killed this thing now you want us to drag it's dead carcass to the forest?!"
Segnfiend continued to stare into the forest. "Yeah."
Xavari shook his head. "Fine, but you're dragging it."
"Xaviar!" Vika yelled.
Xaviar sighed, rolling his eyes. "Fine. Come on then."
Xaviar and Segnfiend both grabbed the dragon by it's tail and started to pull as hard as they could. To their surprise it was a lot lighter than expected. Xaviar looked over at Vika that was walking casually along side them.
"You know you could of helped." Xaviar said.
Vika closed one eye as a wink and looked at him. "Naw, I thought I'd leave it to the men."
Segnfiend chuckled. "Figures."
The rest of the walk was silent. They finally reached a clearing in the forest that was surrounded with beautiful white colored trees. They dragged the beast into the middle of the clearing and looked at it from afar. Segnfiend took two steps forward and let out a deep sigh.
"Hel! Goddess of the underworld, Accept Thy offering!"
They stood in silence. Then there was a short tremer and the Nidhogg was consumed into complete darkness. It sank in the ground and the tremer got more fierce. Just then the ground cracked where the Nidhogg used to be and a stone staircase appeared. Vika stared at it and gulped.
Xaviar looked at her and said, "Ladies first."
Vika hit Xaviar's arm lightly. "Shut up!"
Segnfiend was already going down the staircase, but looked back. "Are you coming?"
Xaviar and Vika both followed with Segnfiend in the lead.
Water dripped rapidly in a row down near the group and a horrid scent roamed the area. Vika quickly blocked her nose andm outh by cupping her hand over her face. Bleach white skeletons and skulls laid in the corners and against the walls. Xaviar noticed that there was a little green grass growing on the ground, but as they walked on the grass began to change yellow and die. They stopped at the end of the tunnel in front of two crimson red doors.
"This is it," said Segnfiend.
They slowly opened the doors and walked inside. They walked to the middle of the room and two pale soldiers closed the doors. In a closer veiw they looked as if they had empty eye sockets and a sick, twisted smile.
Xaviar looked up and stared at a throne. The throne was completely black with skulls and grim designs on it, it looked so dark in the shadows it was almost as scary as the woman sitting in it. On the throne sat Hel, Goddess of the underworld.
