Yesterday, Sunday June 21st, there was a ceremony to pay respects to those that gave their all for King and country. The National Field of Honour was also declared a National Historic Site, as it is the oldest Military Cemetary in Canada. !00 years of war 20.000 dead buried there. Many died in the 2 world wars and the Korean action but last year 3 young men who were killed bringing political stability and sexual equality th Afghanistan were also laid to rest there. We who remain seem to be the poorer for it.
