my head is finally quiet,
constant chatter finally ceased,
now without all the noise,
i can finally think in peace.

all of the voices,
that once echoed in my head,
are now extinguished, gone
or possibly even dead.

i've never realized before,
how empty my head was
without all of the constant noise,
that ive grown accustomed to hearing.

this silence makes it seem,
as though the world is frozen,
this silence,
shows that i've finally gained control.

this silence is true serenity,
the answer to peace,
this silence is the way the world should be,
distant, quiet, lifeless.
