Ryu and Satsuki ran away down into the town,the sky a pitch black except for the moon that hung from it.
They stopped running once they reached an old warehouse,nothing else was around it for some reason"In here"
Satsuki ran over to the door,using his claws to unlock the combination that hung on a chain.The chains making a Rattling sound as they landed ontop of each other onto the concrete
Ryu helped Satsuki kick the door in,closing them back and running deeper into the building.
The inside of the building would have been completely dark if not for the broken windows on the cieling letting in the moonlight.Some of the sections were dark though,chains hanging from large poles,the place looked like it was an old metal factory
Satsuki ran to a corner,sitting next to a convaer belt that wasn't working.He hugged his knees close to his chest,hiding his face
Ryu walked over to him,smiling slightly as he sat down beside him,resting his back against the wall,one leg stretched out the other up as his arm rested on his knee
Satsuki lifted his head up,glancing over at Ryu"How..can you be so calm...we left her there with all those things.."
Ryu tilted his head up towards the cieling,staring up at a window that hadn't been broken"I've seen her get out of worse situations...she'll be fine"He gave him a reassuring smile,knowing that in the back of his mind even he was worried
Kyo sighed softly,throwing a figure in a pile along with the rest of them"That should be the last of em"She rubbed the back of her head,twirling her gun on her finger before putting it back on the holster she kept behind her
The holster was used as a cloaking device,hiding the gun and itself whenever it was put in.She watched as the bodies slowly dissolved into dust"Guess I should go find them now"
Kyo walked away from her house,walking towards the town,her eyes still red as she walked.She looked around almost as if searching for something"There it is"
From Kyo's point of vision she could always find Ryu by a silver string that always lead to him.She never understood why but her father had the same string and she was only able to see it from him until she met Ryu.
She followed the string until she reached an old warehouse"Must be in here then.."She tried pushing the door open but they wouldn't budge,almost as if something was blocking it from the inside"So much for not being scared"
Kyo sighed softly as she walked away from the door,going around to the side of the building and climbing up onto an old truck,jumping on the roof from there
Both Ryu and Satsuki jumped as they heard the doors move"Wh-What do you think that was.."Satsuki looked over at Ryu
Ryu's eye twitched as he heard movement coming from the roof of the place"M-Maybe its a racoon...it is dark outside.."
They both nodded thier heads,the noise getting louder louder as it seemed to be coming closer to them"...."
Ryu stood up,grabbing a pole that was nearby and holding it in his hands like a bat"Alright...I'm ready..whoever you are.."
A figure kicked a hole in the cileing,jumping down at Ryu,it was one of the vampires that Kyo was fighting before
Ryu quickly swung the pole at it,knocking it back into the darkness
A second later there was another hole,punched in by another dark figure.This one jumping down and missed being swung at.
Ryu closed his eyes,holding the pole up high in the air,then swinging in bat down as if squashing something.
A loud Clang echoed throughout the building,getting softer and softer by the minute.Ryu opened his eyes slowly after feeling the aftershock of the hit shiver towards his hands
"....Uh...."He just stood there,the pole tight in hand as he looked ahead of him
Kyo stood there,her eye twitching as she glared at him,the pole bent in half over her head
"Ni-Nice to you made it safely K-Kyo"Ryu threw the pole behind him,laughing nervoulsy at what he had just done
Kyo didn't say anything to him,all she did was glare at him as she walked past him,walking over to Satsuki.
She picked him up by his shirt,holding him up in the air"Why are those things chasing you"
Satsuki turned his head away abit from Kyo,looking down towards the ground"....They're trying to kill me...I ran away.."
Kyo looked at him sternly,clenching his shirt tighter in her hand"Ran away from what"
"...They were experimented on...and they were gonna use us!...My parents...are still there.."Satsuki's eyes started to fill with tears as he thought of his parents"My mother...and father are still there..."
Kyo dropped him down onto the ground,walking away from him and heading back towards the entrance
"Please! You have to help me!"Satsuki ran after Kyo,running infront of her and blocking the door with his arms"You're the only one strong enough to.."
Kyo pushed him aside as she unblocked the door,pushing it open and walking outside.
Satsuki held his head down,not being able to read her so he had given up on asking her
Kyo looked back over her shoulder at them"Come on,I don't have all night"
