May 1st, 2009 Today my cat was put to sleep and I've never cried so much in my entire life. I don't see how life can go on without him, but it will, and everyday will be a struggle to go on, and everyday will be painful. I love you so much Ron, I'm going to miss your meow.

Aw! That is so sad! I remember when my grandparents had to get our german shepherd Sheba put down. I wasn't crying then, but now, every now and then I cry.

I'm so sorry! I had to have my poodle that I'd had since I was 3 put to sleep this past October. I know exactly what you mean. It'll get better soon, though, I promise. Sometimes I still find myself grabbing two treats out of the box instead of just one. It's hard, but I think you'll find that, in a way, his presence won't actually leave. It still feels like my poodle is right here, all the time.
