I left the bakery and said goodbye to Alex. She seemed really happy since I kicked that guys a**, and my stomach was feeling less squeamish after the milkshake. I also shared some of my ice cream cake with her. She and I went our seperate ways after closing time. I told her I'd see her again soon. I walked home and decided to turn on the Television set. I was just about to change the channel when I heard that some kid got stabbed and shot in the head about 5 blocks away from the bakery where Alex worked at.
"Holy s**t..." That's all that came to my mind. Then my cell phone vibrated. It was Gigi.
"Hey Gigi, how's it going?"
"Nothin' much babe, can you have company tonight?"
"Of course, my mom and dad have been on vacation for only a week, they won't come back for another two."
"Oh that's great baby! Maybe I can crash with you for a while then?"
"Sure thing honey, but be careful, some guy got stabbed and shot in the head not too far from where you're at."
"Don't worry babe, I'm sure that guy died for a reason." At this point, I knew she was the one that killed him.
"Think we can be honest for a second Gigi?"
"Of course my love..." She sounded earnest.
"You're the one that killed him weren't you?"
"That's why I love you Luis, You're smart enough to know who the killer was." She laughed a little bit.
"Yeah well after that night I could've killed you and said that it's best to use knives in close quarters combat, I think it pretty smart of you to take my advice. You stabbed him and shot him in the head, most likely after he started to cry, correct?"
"Correct." She snapped.
"No need to snap, hurry and get you're cute butt over here before the cops catch you." I smiled.
"Okay, love you Luis, bye."
"Love you too babe, bye." We hung up, and I laid in my bed. What should I do now? I got up and turned on Guitar Hero:Metallica.
