The sun poured the heat onto the cool, mild grass. A young girl gently sat on the grass and swiped her hair out of her face. The wind bringing up a gust of wind. Raven black hair across her face with sweet gentle brown eyes. Her name was Kagome Higurashi. A young man in a crimson kimono stepped out of the shadows. His silver white dog ears and hair stuck out against the kimono. "Hey Kagome. Come on we need to get going. Naraku is settled near by and we need his shards." He said, a little flustered in his voice. Kagome just stared out towards the village, mind in a totally different direction then journeying for jewel shards. Sango and Miroku were out on a small socializing date. But Miroku, being the perverted monk would probably be red in the face since Sango had a dislike to his perverted ways. The young man with white ears stood in front of him. "Kagome!" A loud scream came from his mouth. "Inuyasha. Sit." The white haired boy slammed hard against the ground and made a gourge in it. The girl stood up and walked away from the man. Kagome was still thinking of her encounter of Koga and her while Inuyasha was out, looking for Kikyo.
"Kagome, please be my wife. Leave that half-demon." The wolf demon pleaded to her. "I can't. Its my duty to collect shards with him." She said while staring off into space, thinking of the man she despised. Koga scoffed. "Then I will just deal with the hanyou myself." Kagome grabbed his shoulder but he was off in a dash.
She gently strolled through the meadow of trees and saw many creatures. Inuyasha was silently following her, inspecting on what she was to be doing. He silently walked up to her and wrapped his arms around her. "Kagome.. Why won't you talk to me?" The raven haired girl tilted her head up and met his gaze. "I was thinking. But now I am done." Kagome unwrapped his arms and strolled away from him. Inuyasha looked up and then grabbed her. Kagome was startled and then started a sentence. "Inuyasha. Please let me g-" She never did finish her sentence since he had give her a blessing, which was a kiss. The kiss was finished in an instant. "Kagome...I love you." Her eyes widened at the words. Kagome then embraced Inuyasha with a hug. "I am so glad you finally told me. After all of these years. I love you too." Inuyasha's eyes widened as she confessed her feelings of love. The lovely couple intertwined their hands and they walked away, down to the village.
