Sewwww....My parents went out to look for a car today. They ended up buying a Vibe. Cool, huh?
So, I was stuck at home alone with the dog. My sister was at the barn and my brother had visited earlier in the day. My parents always want me to take the dog out, or go for a ride, or BOTH at once...So I decided I'd take the dog to the cemetery nearby...
Well, I drove over to the cemetery but someone else pulled in right before I could, and you never want to disturb people visiting a grave, so I faked right, went left (not quite as dangerously as it sounded though). Instead I went over to Goddard park.
It started raining like 10 minutes into my walk. :/ But not hard, so I continued. I was in the woods...alone with a useless dog... My dad had told me not to walk in the woods by myself, but I had forgotten...
It was fine until I neared the end...And realized not only was I lost...But there was a man up ahead staring at me.
Luckily he was a friend of my mother's and was able to point me in the right direction. I continued along the main road for 20 minutes before I was able to get back to my car. UGH. I was out for like 2 hours about! And I fell once or twice (with my healing sprained foot nonetheless)
So... that was my day. I think getting lost is really scary. I had no idea which direction to go as I went along, so I was pretty nervous. But I made it home. I'm just relieved.......

Though this must have been quite scary to live through, I found it very inspirational for a story idea. Would you mind if I (obviously) changed the whole lot of it, but kept the cemetery/getting lost in the forest idea?
