Joy, agony, anger, despair, love- so many different emotions that cast a shadow on our world. A world filled with darkness, and yet we see so clearly what is in our way. Yet we fail to see anything else. Our minds lack the definition to inspire us to move forward, find a way to avoid all the troubles in life. To be free from the bonds that constricts us to our mortal world. That is why, when we slowly wither in our flesh, just a skeleton in a cracked sun baked piece of parchment, we are captured by the hand of death. This face is what lurks just beyond the sight of humankind. What we see is only what we comprehend. When you look down, a patch of dirt looms just below. Dirt which turns to mud, a fine grain that covers the earth and allows life to bloom upon its surface. What we fail to see is the face in which it smiles, its voice load and clear but unnoticed by the ear. The earth quakes with excitement, tumbles and roars with anger, slides and gushes with glee. What might you see when gazing up? White stars twinkling in the void, the moon- ghostly in nature. Perhaps the sun, waking and dying. In truth, the gaseous lights boast with their light, the moon mournful over a lost lover, the sun awaiting its next meeting with the friendly clouds. But the clouds race along at individual speeds, shaped by the various emotions that spur their wispy feet along their endless journey. These emotions fuel the world, a mindless feeling that extends beyond the senses. Great and small, intellect does not matter, the human race far too conscious to notice the wind of truth whispering words in their ears, unable to understand a language as pure as love. In the end, these objects all around us are just cold, lifeless and yet they are fueled by the rippling life of hate and agony. The lingering feelings of the living. We live our lives distant, judging our every action. A fault that creates new, complicated emotions. We overlook the simple, general feelings- leaving our mind to consider each step we take instead of following the signals that race through our very bones.
