Mordred was not there of his own free will. He had been caught in one of his many evil acts--this one of vandalism--and Willana now kept him prisoner, or so he saw it. He was not alowed to leave her company until he had cleaned up his act, but he rebelled whenever he got the chance.
Willana was a gaurdian of Christmas. She had strong abilities, but they were limited in scope and numer of uses
