Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. This is just a story to try to get rid of my writer's block. Enjoy!

Chapter 1

Michelle sighed as she sat on the marble steps of her house. Today was the day Chester was supposed to come home from 4 months of touring. She reached for the volume on her ipod and turned the sound up. She smiled as the words to her favorite song came into her ears.


This time, this place

They have been together for 8 months now. Michelle couldn't believe how much the time has passed since then. It seems like yesterday that Michelle was at the party, having the time of her life when he approached her. He was wearing a shirt that said “Ve'cel” on the front and had on baggy jeans.
He smiled at her and said, “Sweet party, huh?”

Michelle smiled at him. “It would be better if I had someone to hang with.”

He grinned. “Well, I'm not doing anything soon. You wanna hang with me?”

Michelle smiled. “Sure.”

And that's how their relationship got started.

When Michelle found out that Chester was in a rock band, she knew that it was going to be hard to see each other all the time but she loved Linkin Park and didn't want Chester to abandon them to be with her."I love your band and I don't want you to quit what you love doing." she had said to him one day when he had said that he wanted to quit the band to be with her.

She knew it was going to be hard having a family with him being gone all the time but she was going to make it work.

So far, the band has been going on tour to promote their new album and Chester just released his solo album, Dead by Sunrise. Michelle sighed. God, she missed him so much wihen he went on tour and she had to stay here. Everytime he left, she would listen to this song. It would help her get through the long hard months without him.

The rumble of a car startled Michelle out of her daydream. She looked up and saw him standing there by his SUV. "Hey baby. Miss me?" he asked, flashing his Bennington smile.

Tears welled up in Michelle eyes as she ran up to him and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Oh my god, Chester! I've missed you so much!" cried Michelle as she tighted her arms around his neck.

Chester smiled. "I have some good news."

"What is it?"

"I'm not going on tour until next year."

"Oh my God, that's great, Chester!" Michelle exclaimed with tears in her eyes.

Chester reached down and picked Michelle up and cradled her in his arms. C'mon, lets go inside. I've been far away for far too long."

Michelle sunggled up to Chester as they went into the house together.
