- So I was DJ-ing for my youth group the other day.
And while I was mixing a song, some random just starts scratching.
(Scratching can stress the speakers a lot.)
So I told them to stop it. And then they did.
After about three seconds of cutting out the bass,
they start fiddling with it again.
I told them to stop or else I'd throw a soft drink can at them.*
They didn't listen this time, and continued scratching.
Knowing what would happen, I let them scratch to their desire.
Then the speakers popped. (They weren't the best speakers.)
So that unfortunate 12-year-old now has to pay about $1000 for new speakers.
And I'm feeling pretty good about myself,
since I wasn't to blame for the incessant scratching. xDDD
* Seriously, it hurts.
I got knocked out by one being the weakling I am > 3 > ;;.
