Mom's epic 2002 GMC Yukon... needed maintenance (specifically a water pump and other things), so I went with Mom to Pep Boys today. Took nearly twelve hours, too! We had some stuff to do, too!
During the wait, we went to White Castle first, which was next to the Pep Boys location... without a vehicle, of course. It was raining, so we used our umbrellas. Mom had a fish sandwich, chicken rings, and Potato Poppers. I wanted nothing. I was playing my Dreams Come True music on my MP3 player, writing my character list for yet another story, and the occasional DS Lite gaming, while Mom was eating, and after that, was doing a Sudoku puzzle. Not much else there.
We stayed there for about one hour. At this point, we went to the Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin' Robbins place... next to the White Castle! xd I had two donuts, a strawberry flavor and a maple flavor. Oh, and some hot chocolate. Mom had coffee. We did the same things as we had in the White Castle: Sudoku, MP3 Player, and story character list. And the DS Lite.
Stayed there for about 1.5 hours. After that, we went back to Pep Boys and looked around the entire store more than four times for nearly two hours, talking about, and doing random stuff. Mainly speakers and subwoofers, car stereos, power generators, car seat cushions, the broken driver's side mirror, and the small Hannah Montana car decal... burning_eyes Yeah. We're weird. Still had that player going.
Went to Walgreen's across the two roads. It was windy and rainy! gonk We mainly went there for some replacement waterproof first aid tape. Also scanned the store for about 1.5 hours. MP3 player, as usual.
Mayberry's Family Restaurant was the next destination. Never been there before, but the food was good. 4laugh I had a chili dog that came with potato chips, and Mom had Fish n' Chips with salad and a sweet roll with butter. At this point, the MP3 player dies. emo Still kept trying to play it, though. At this point, it was the character list again. There were a few TVs on with Fox News... of all the programs to be on those TVs, it was... that. Didn't stop me from enjoying my meal. Been there for about an hour or two.
Went right back to the Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin' Robbin's place. Had to go across the two roads, too. We were exhausted at this point. Mom had a scoop of some Mocha Fudge ice cream, and I had a Mint Chocolate Chip shake. Still trying to get the last minutes of the MP3 player while I was writing a bit of my character list. I gave up on the player some time later. Oh, when we're tired, we laugh at the stupidest things ever. I mean ever. The most obvious was the fact that a cop entered the location we were in right now and went over to the Dunkin' Donuts section. Then we saw someone get pulled over near a Wendy's a few buildings down. Then we realized that a tow truck was present as well. xD We obviously assumed the person was arrested.
A few hours later, I was stuck on the character list, so I went to go play on my DS Lite. I played Sims 2 first, as I had since that morning. After I got bored with it, I finally popped in Sonic Advance 3. At that time, I had four Chaos Emeralds unlocked and nine Chao in the fifth zone, which is Twinkle Snow. For nearly three months, I was stuck on finding the last Chao, so I gave up on it and did other IRL stuff. But out of the blue, I took a random path in Twinkle Snow Act 2, which I despise so much, and finally found it. Unlocked the fifth Emerald in two tries later on. After that, I shut off my DS.
Some point later, after nearly 5.5 hours, we decided to go back to Pep Boys. A few minutes later, the SUV was ready. Finally, time to go home! ...After we get some gas for the thing, as we didn't do so earlier.
After getting some gas, we finally made it home. Twelve hours later! Yay! rolleyes The dog, named Kelly, greeted us in a happy mood as usual. Eleven years old, and she is still active! ...Now my hair needed to be permed. As of this entry, I'm on my computer, surfing the Internet for lulz and fail. As for the original destination? We were going to the Sears Outlet to look at refrigerators and freezers, as our freezer is on the fritz, and the "80's" fridge needs to be replaced. Badly.
Now to end this entry with: Night!
