setting:

a large forest in feudal era japan, with several cave systems that from an underground passage leading to a hidden city, and above ground, there is a lake, that branches into streams, and there are several mountains. the hidden city is left in ruin, and has many cursed artifacts, and many treasures, among them, scrolls with forbidden ninja techniques, and an item that is said to give powers that rival that of a semi-god, and is locked away in a temple ruin. the cave routes are laced with many traps.
