Okay, this'll be a short rant on Gaia cash and the cash shop.
Firstly, I think the Cash shop should not be on Gaia and is the problem behind the Gaian economy. Why?
They say that the marketplace is inflated, or has too much gold for it's need.
The problem is the Evolving items. As you may know, the only way to 'get rid' of gold is to sell it back to the shops in order to keep the gold flowing. What's the problem?
You can't sell evolving items in shops, only the market place.
Second problem, stop babying the Cash users.
Us who buy with gold can rarely afford a 1st gen evolving item. Usually when an evolving item is introduced the basic price on the marketplace is 200 to 300k. Only millionaires can afford them. I sell art, but even if I could sell enough, the price will usually sky rocket before I can even finish my art, because I'd rather take time and make it good than a scribble just to get gold.
My ideas:
I personally have nothing against evolving items, in fact, I like the idea. BUT the problem is that there's too many! I can NEVER own them all. And the best ones are as expensive as HELL! I won't waste 10 dollars I can spend in real life for something I can use, not pixels.
So, my idea is to make evolving items the monthly collectibles. I mean, sure, they'll be a little more expensive. [Like 4 US dollars?]
But they are most certainly worth it. I'm sure that you won't have as many protests then. But the cash shop is nothing but trouble.
This has been my rant, thank you for listening.
