How this all got started:
i saw a thread in site feedback requesting an avatar gallery function so that we (and our friends) could look back and see the changes in our avvies over time or just to save our favorites. in the thread a sitemod posted this:

For the last year or so, I've saved every single avatar of mine and dated it. I find it really interesting to see the changes it's gone through. It'd be nice to have a feature similar to this on Gaia.

after i made that post, i realized that i did do that! (sorta) xd since i joined back in '07 i've taken many screen captures of my profile (among other things) and in a good many of them my avatar was visible. so today i went through my screen captures and clipped my avvie out of them, dated them and then sorted them into order. i know i'm missing many of them (pre-200 cool but i managed to come up with quite a few considering i wasn't actively tracking my avvie. in the future i'm going to try to save them as i change them (like pirhan is doing). i have to admit, it IS cool to look back and see all the changes!
if anyone reading this happens to have any of me that i'm missing, please send it along so i can shuffle it into the list? *thanks*
