The smile I where as I trudge to school
Can you see through it?
The laugh I laugh when im being made fun of

You can't because this mask I wear
Is tough and strong
It hides my pain so you don't know
It hides my tears so they won't show

This cheery song I sing and hum

The chin held high as I walk through the door

The heart that's made of steal
