Your eyes can stop acid rain,
your heart can grow vines,
your eyes can melt ice,
your wisdom can guide me through the sky,
I sit, listening to your clever words,
they each sink in deep where everything hurts,
the way your heart beats,
it not something I can ignore,
You look blindly at me,
I am nothing more to you,
just a friend,
to sit and talk to ,
I can not hide my heart,
nor can I ignore the pain,
that I am blessed with,
as I walk this road,
this road that never ends,
with footsteps that echo,
and hearts that bleed words,
words that bring sorrow,
and words full of fear,
I sit here today,
not because I like it here,
because I am stuck,
stuck exactly where I am sitting,
No hope, just truths,
truths that hurt deep inside,
I am blessed and cursed,
in this dark damp cell.
