june 6, 1944 we hit the beaches two hours ago it was hell we had no idea th-th-that they would have so muc firepower we bombed them to hell and for nothing almost we still made it off the beach at least i did my squad was hit on the boats the water was still red i wonder how my brother is in the pacific right now i hope he's good
