On Halloween, prettiness is not your top priority. You're willing to look much less attractive than usual for the sake of a few scares. You probably didn't put that much work into your costume, but the results are creepy enough to make people scream... especially if it's so dark they can't see that you're wearing Converse. Even if your scariness involves last-minute applications of freaky makeup and weird hairspray, your overall Halloween enthusiasm (and willingness to make creepy, costume-related noises) makes you a great addition to any party.
