This is one I wrote a few days ago. Sorry, I don't really write cheerful poems sweatdrop
Some lucky people just don't know
What it's like, to be all alone
To have no-one, nowhere to go
And you're breaking heart seems encased in stone
What those fortunate ones have never known
Is that feeling of panic and moreover; despair
When the ice creeps up - you're trapped in walls of stone
And you realise that life has never been fair
Have I driven everyone else away?
Have I built a wall surrounding my soul?
What must I do to get you to stay?
If it continues like this, I'll become a distant ghoul
And so the tears have their way
I am unfixably broken inside
Can this be the only way?
But I've no-one in whom to confide
