"Standing alone"
I'm standing in the rain
waiting for the light
to come and warm ma
but no light comes to me.
I'm crying, waiting, and
praying one day my light
will come and save me
from this pain in my heart.
pain from past lovers,
they used ma, then
let me go.
I wish the pain
would stop holding
me back and let me go,
and let me go, and
be the person
I know I can be.
