So at tonight's Invisible Children meeting, I found out (since our presidents do NOT communicate with us, for some reason) that we lost one co-prez, our treasurer, and our publicist. I stepped up for the role of publicist, my responsibilities entail publicizing our club obviously, graphics and visuals are a given and since I'm in graphic design and headed sort of in that general direction, it's perfect. I'm also responsible for communicating to the rest of the club, which I am more than willing to do since I was so fed up with the lack of, and so I'm happy that it wasn't something intense like president.

I said before that I was breaking out of my comfort zone by agreeing to take some sort of "leadership role" I just didn't know what role it would be, but this isn't NEARLY as terrifying as prez or something. sweatdrop

Not to mention they all really liked my ideas. ^w^ I'm excited too that they're not jumping on ALL of the ideas thrown out there, our first priority is to throw an Invisible Children movie in two weeks, that'll give us plenty of time to round things up. Since what scared most of our members last semester off were all the ideas we were trying to tackle all at once, I'm pleased that my ideas are far off in the distance, they will take a lot of work, but it'll be worth it in the long run.
