OK. I'm going to delve into Sophia's Ramen fettish before I weird you out with my family history, partially because that's what I ended with in the last entry^^ Sophia absolutely loves Ramen. She eats it almost every day. Granted, it's not very healthy, at all, but that's made up for with her love of V8 Juice and the vitamins that I put into her milk every night. She loves it so much now that whenever the box in the kitchen is open, she takes out the packs and brings them to Mommy to cook xD Yesterday, she had a scrambled egg for breakfast, and still did this. However, she was so tired she could barely keep her eyes open and she stumbled around the living room like a drunk {to quote her father for a moment "She's a lightweight. She can't even hold her juice!" xd } so I put her down for a nap and promised her I'd fix Ramen for her when she woke up from her nap. This was around one in the afternoon. I figured: she takes about a two hour nap so she'll be up by 3. Daddy will be home by then so I'll just make Ramen for both of them. So this is how it went down: Shadow walked in, walked to the kitchen. "Baby, how much do you love me?" "You want me to make you Ramen, don't you?" "Yeah." "I intended to make you Ramen, anyway. Sophia's taking a nap and I promised her when she woke up I'd make it for you both. She should be getting up soon." You could not have timed this better. The second I finished talking, the words were still hanging in the air when we heard Sophia calling for someone to get her out of the crib, and all I did was laugh. Shadow had to go get her xD
OK. Just to keep you in suspense {not really. You need to know a bit of background information to understand the irony of it all.} When I went to Chamberlain, there was this kid that rode my bus. I saw him every day and I swear I knew this kid from somewhere. Then it hit me. He went to the same church I did when I was younger. On the last day of school, I struck up a conversation with him, just to be sure, and he signed my yearbook afterward whee Apparently, not only does that kid sit right next to my sister on the bus now, but he's also our second cousin. O.o How did I find this out? My mother recently got a call from her Aunt Edith saying that her biological father passed away. Sharon pulled up Aunt Edith's Myspace to see pictures of her and the rest of the family, and, lo and behold, there are pictures of said cousin xD So, Roy has been more of a father to my mom and more of a grandfather to us than my actual grandad {this guy used to abuse my mother and grandmother and went to jail for shooting someone in the face. Apparently when he got out like 8 or 9 years ago, he tried to move in with us but my mom was like "hell no" , the old ******** kind of thing^^} but we're still going to the memorial to see what other family we've been missing out on and to see if we went to school with any other unknown relatives xD So, maybe now people will start to just take me at my word when I say my family is crazy and complicated....?
